What Lies Before Us
The COVID crisis of 2020-2023 has revealed that numerous systems that underly Western civilization are either broken, dysfunctional, or deeply troubled. In many ways, they are simply out of control. It is time to begin repairing what can be repaired and replace what is beyond repair, if our children, grandchildren and their descendants are to have any hope of having decent lives. No-one will do it if we do not.
Political/Government systems: Reasonable questions have been raised as to whether we have fair elections. Moneyed interests have too much influence in government. The constitution is not being properly enforced. Our intelligence agencies and regulatory agencies are not doing their jobs properly. At this point, real, not mock investigations need to be done, and government corruption and malfeasance must be rooted out. Or we need to tear down the walls and build a new political system.
Economic/Finance/Banking systems: From the misconduct of the Federal Reserve Bank, the fractional reserve banking system, the too-big-to-fail banks, the excessive political influence of the finance industry, unbridled investing by Wall St. speculators, the huge debt incurred by the derivative industry, the monstrous national debt, and the efforts by the banks to assume total control of economics by central bank currency attached to digital ID, the banking industry must be reined in. Or we need a new financial system, separate from the old and corrupt one.
Health Care system: Corporate Medicine and Big Pharma has overtaken medicine, so that doctors' freedom to practice as they see fit has become almost obsolete. The health insurance industry takes a huge cut of the pie with little to no benefit for the average person. The health of Americans has been declining for decades concurrently. We have a need for better preventive medicine, including better environmental medicine, reduction in the usage of pharmaceutical products, and the increased use of non-toxic, non-pharmaceutical alternative treatments. The health insurance industry is a ball and chain around the peoples' legs and needs to be reformed or eliminated.
Agricultural system: Under the false banner of a carbon based climate emergency, governments and around the world are trying to reduce or eliminate healthful, environmentally sound, and regenerative agriculture and replace it bit by bit with GMO food, bioengineered food, insect food, lab-grown food, and even vaccine containing food. Sound nutritional theory and environmentally informed agriculture practices are being ignored in an effort to introduce these new technologic agricultural or food-science based industries which investors have put a lot of their money behind. We need healthy environmentally soundly grown food, not high tech pseudo-nutrition, which is likely to be poisonous.
Educational system: We are not doing a good enough job of teaching our kids critical thinking skills, appreciation for knowledge and wisdom, the joy of learning, and preparing them for life with the social and psychological skills to deal with the modern world. Instead, they are being all too often indoctrinated with woke ideology, prepared for a college degrees the relevance of which they can't even conceive of, and not had a love for learning inculcated into them. Instead, education is a competition with winners and losers. Everyone needs to be a winner, as much as possible, when they graduate from school, or we will continue to have the society we now have — one of winners and losers (at least economically).
Communications/Media: The media has become so untethered from its mission of seeking truth that it is a wonder there is anyone left reading or watching mainstream media. There is a need to have standards for journalism and a mechanism to ensure that those standards are followed. The journalism industry would be the best at creating solutions for the debacle they have created, but I believe the best solution may be to let the MSM wither and die on the vine, and pump more money and interest in alternative and independent media.
Spiritual and religious systems: There has been a breakdown in morality in our world, with greed, dishonesty, lying, cheating, and selfishness having essentially pinned to the mat the forces of honor, fair-play, honesty, and altruism. Even worse, the morally bankrupt hide as wolves in the sheep' clothing of DEI and SDG's. We need new morally upright leaders, and new spiritual leaders to inspire us to be better people and honor the values that have enable civilized society to persist for as long as it has. The bacchanal must be stopped. We need more people like RFK Jr. to be exemplars of the best that lies within all of us, and to lead us down a more civilized and ethical pathway. We all need to make it our business to walk the talk every day, in every action we take, and in every word we speak, as much as possible.
Legal: Justice must be depoliticized and deracinated from fiduciary powers. In short, it must be more just. The penal code needs to be revised so that keeping people imprisoned is not longer big business.
Commercialism: The sanctity of all that is worthwhile must be protected from the intrusive fingers of big business. This starts with pharmaceutical products, includes Christmas marketing, and nearly all endeavors corrupted by advertising and business interests and values. Commercial interests corrupt what should be the honest intentions of what we buy and sell. In short, marketing makes liars of those who sell, and dupes of all who buy. Truth in advertising must become a new priority and enforcement of laws related to truth in advertising enhanced.
Many people appear to believe that now that the " COVID-19 pandemic" is over, we can go back to living a more "normal" life. They ignore the evidence that this is not at all the case — that there has been an effort made to create new and more pandemics with new "scariants" of SARS-COV2, named ominously, "Kraken" and "Pirola", and with the monkeypox "public health emergency of international concern" named by the W.H.O. The W.H.O. has proposed amendments to the international health agreements that would leave it one small step away from totalitarian control. The intelligence community has been selling our bioweapons secrets to the People's Republic of China, who has declared the United States its mortal enemy. Public health officials play fast and loose with the truth. Pharmaceutical companies sell more fraudulent products than health enhancing ones, and after an occasional slap on the wrist, they go back to business. 2022 and 2023 have contained some significant victories for truth and justice, from the release of the Pfizer trials, the outing of the lies of the FDA and CDC by FOIA's from ICAN and others, lawsuits reining in the powers of the government to surveil and control our behaviors. But this fight is still ongoing, and the wealthy and powerful forces that care little for morality and much for profit and control have not given up. We must attend to the mess that our civilization has fallen into and begin the reconstruction project, and need I say it, I DON'T mean "build back better".
Any one of the above categories of the decaying and rotting systems of modern civilization would be a task of monumental difficulty to resolve. Just getting an agreement on a path forward would be hard enough, given the variety of opinions that exist for how to solve any human problem. Actualizing a plan would be ten times more difficult. And we have many categories that require solutions. Yet we can not afford to back down from the task of rebirthing our world in a more enlightened direction. To not undertake this Herculean task would be nothing short of giving up on the future of our children, our grandchildren, and the generations that follow. We are at a crossroads in history.
I have given a brief outline of some of the problems, and have omitted much, some by design, and some through the narrowness of my own capacity for visualizing the vast landscape of disarray that our world has become. I have only hinted at answers. Honestly, I don't know the answers, or whether they are even possible. Powerful financially loaded forces which are enriched by the current system oppose change, which will surely harm them financially, even as they may work towards the public interest. There may be a need for creative destruction - or in Buckminster Fuller's terminology, "making the old system obsolete by creating a better one." We who share a vision for a better world need to get to work by putting our heads together and get the creative juices flowing to find answers. Tess Lawrie and her colleagues of The World Council for Health offer an example of one way forward in building a better health care system for the world. We need dozens of organizations like it in the multiple areas that call for reform. Some of the foundations of the reform and replacement systems already likely exist in embryonic form in the many freedom-fighting organizations that have sprouted up during the pandemic. For all the terrible things humans are capable of, there are many of us who are capable of immense good. There is a vast reservoir of talented, committed, decent and creative individuals in this world whose energies must be harnessed to stop the destructive forces that have been loosed upon the world in recent times. Failure is simply not an option. Our lives are in the cross-hairs of the globalists, and so are our children's.
